The Rifle Range is capable of handling all calibers up to and including .50 BMG. The only limitation for ammunition types are incendiary rounds and armor piercing rounds.
The following chart outlines some common cartridges/calibers that are allowed, and which ones are not allowed to be shot on Target World's Pistol Range. All possible cartridges cannot be covered and if you have any question about the one you would like to use, please ask the range officer. Because the pistol backstop is limited to 2,000 feet per second (fps) muzzle velocity, we cannot allow cartridges that have the potential to exceed that limit to be used. If you are caught using one of the restricted cartridges shown in the chart, or one not covered that has a muzzle velocity above 2,000 fps, you will be charged for any damages caused. As a general rule, most (but not all) common handgun calibers are allowed to be shot on the range and most rifle caliber cartridges other than .22 LR are restricted.
